“As a teacher and counselor, I can’t rave about Jackie highly enough. She took me on as a client, knowing full well the challenges I face as a vegan, three time heart attack survivor and 40+ year old male who likes his beer. "First of all I would like to say thank you. I never paid attention to what I used to eat and drink and as a result both my blood pressure and my blood sugar were high. These results were very scary but based on Jackie's advice and recommendations, I made a great deal of changes to my diet. In addition to this I walked 10,000 steps per day and did the deep breathing exercises Jackie taught me a few times per day to help me manage my stress. “Thank you Jackie! I started noticing a lot of pain in my joints. It became difficult to get out of bed in the morning, get up out of a chair, and raise my arms. “At the age of 40, I found myself having to think very seriously about my health. I was diabetic (diagnosed at the age of 42) and was taking 32 units insulin and a second shot of regular insulin every day. I didn't pay attention to exercise, and my diet was very unhealthy. I ate out at restaurants too often and I was making very poor food choices. I began meeting with Jackie about diet and exercise, and then putting the information to use. "This program has helped me tremendously. The information, encouragement and accountability have all greatly contributed to my success. I learned methods that not only helped me with improving my diet, but also improved my stress level, work environment and personal life.
